Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.  But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

~Psalms 1:1-3

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

~Galatians 2:20

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."

~Jeremiah 29:11-13

Name: Wes Hutchcraft
Birthdate: November 5, 1981
Marital Status: Single
Years as Hunter: 8
Hunted Prey: I would consider myself an all-around outdoorsman, and being a part of Team Harvest is a great opportunity.  I deer hunt, coon hunt, turkey hunt, and occasionally squirrel and rabbit hunt.  I also do what we in southern Illinois call "hogging."  I've also heard it called "noodling," but it basically consists of fishing with your hands.
Greatest Hunting Achievement:
Well, hunting is something that always seems to come with interesting stories about the big deer you almost got, or tight spots you got yourself into while in the outdoors.  I would have to say that my greatest accomplishment would be somewhat different, though.  I think that passing down the tradition of hunting on to kids that I've known would probably be the greatest accomplishment in hunting for me.  Hunting is an experience that places us right in the middle of God's beautiful creation, and to pass this on to today's youth is definitely gratifying.
Testimony: I, like most of the people on Team Harvest, am the son of a preacher.  I've always been around church and people who love the Lord, but every person, regardless of who they are or where they come from, has to experience the love of God for themselves.  I truly gave my life to the Lord early in my teenage years.  It's had its ups and downs, but whether I'm up on the mountain or down in the valley, I know God's there with me.  That's the great thing about God...He promised to never leave us or forsake us, and that is something we as Christians can always find comfort in.
